Fresh & Dried Lavender for Any Occasion

Den Lille Lavendelgård (“the little lavender farm,” to honor our Norwegian heritage) is our five-acre slice of paradise in Sumas, Washington, where we grow Lavandula intermedia 'Grosso,’ a French hybrid lavender. We produce naturally & sustainably grown bundles, wreaths, and buds for wholesale and home delivery.

Our Products

We sell sustainably grown fresh and dried lavender bundles, dried lavender wreaths, and buds.

Our lavender can last for years – squeeze sachets gently to release the lush scent of lavender. Use loose Grosso buds for sachets, potpourri, crafts, oil production, and more.

Orders ship Monday through Friday, typically within 2-3 days of placing your order.

Bulk and Wholesale Lavender:

Bulk & wholesale orders are subject to a minimum order quantity of 20 bundles per box. Loose buds are sold by volume and priced per pound.

We do not require you to have a wholesale account to place a bulk order. Those with a Wholesale License, please email us at denlillelavender@gmail.com to complete your order.

Our Story

Our lives came full circle when we, Cherie and Carl Birkelo, returned to farm country in the Pacific Northwest in 2020.

After long careers in education, agriculture, and animal husbandry, we transplanted ourselves along with a test plot of lavender in the Sumas Prairie Fraser River Lowlands.

At Den Lille Lavendelgård, we offer our customers prime natural lavender products and a secure online store with great shipping to your home and beyond!

The Blue Barn

While searching for property, Cherie fell in love with the big blue Scandinavian gambrel barn, a former dairy barn, whose cedar loft lends itself to the bountiful bundles of drying lavender.
